Preparations have now finished for this years festival which will take place once again at St George’s Church, Langton Matravers from 3rd– 5th December 10:00 am till 5:00 pm. This is a chance for people to meet, wander through a truly wonderful display of individually decorated trees, pause for coffee or tea and maybe even tempted to a slice of cake.

Programme of Events
Saturday 3rd December
10:30am – 4:00pm The Handwritten Letter Appreciation Society
drop in Christmas Card and letter writing for ALL ages/everyone – not just children
11:00am The Purbeck Recorder Ensemble kicking us off with some seasonal tunes
12:30pm Frable, local group of friends who just love singing
3:00pm U3A Ukelele band back again following the wonderful performance at the Summer fete

Sunday 4th December
12:30pm Ratties Acoustic Club part of the Bournemouth Rat Pack
3:00pm Liv, Ruben and Martha local talented young singers

Monday 5th December
12:30pm Mayday singers seasonal songs from a long established choir

All the proceeds raised at this years festival will be donated to Mosaic and National Coastwatch Institution.

In 2021 the festival raised £1600 we are looking to beat that this year.

As part of the celebrations there will be a special informal advent service held at Kingston on the evening of 4th December this service provides a chance to step back from the frantic Christmas preparations that engulf us all, So do join us in the magical setting that is St James’ church for seasonal readings and hymns.
